Privacy Policy
Short version: TabDesk runs locally on your computer. We do not collect telemetry, analytics or your screen contents.

What TabDesk collects
The TabDesk desktop app runs entirely on your computer and your Android device. It does not send your screen, your typed text, your installed app list, or any usage data to any server.
The only outbound network calls TabDesk makes are:
- License validation (Pro users only). When you
activate a Pro license, TabDesk contacts the LemonSqueezy API
to verify the license key and bind it to a generated machine
identifier (a UUID stored locally in
~/.tabdesk/license.json). We re-validate the license once every 24 hours. - Update check (optional). On startup, TabDesk may check whether a newer version is available. This is a single GET request to GitHub Releases, no personal data is sent.
What this website (tabdesk.app) collects
This marketing site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and referrers without setting cookies and without tracking individual visitors. No cookie banner is shown because no cookies are set.
Third-party services
- LemonSqueezy, handles checkout, subscription billing and license generation for Pro plans. Their privacy policy: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare, serves this website and provides analytics. Their privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
- GitHub, hosts our public release binaries and their checksums. Their privacy policy: github.com privacy.
Cookies
Neither the desktop app nor this website set tracking cookies. The only browser storage used by tabdesk.app is what your browser does on its own (e.g. caching static assets).
Your rights
Under GDPR (Europe), you have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. The only personal data we may hold is the email address linked to a Pro license, stored at LemonSqueezy. To request deletion, email us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
We will update the "Last updated" date at the top whenever this policy changes. Material changes will also be announced in the release notes.
